Nassau, The Bahamas - As part of the entity's ongoing community outreach programming, Secretary of the Trafficking In Persons Secretariat Corrections Corporal Keva Sherman (pictured) speaks to Mount Moriah Constituency Summer Camp 2019 "Preserving Our Heritage" participants on the topic of trafficking in children, at the Central Church of Christ, in Yellow Elder Gardens, on August 15, 2019.  She was joined by First Assistant Secretary of Ministry of National Security and Co-Chair of the Ministry of National Security's Trafficking in Persons Inter-Ministry Committee Susanne Knowles.  The age-appropriate presentation dealt with topics such as being aware of their surroundings, signs that other children could be in danger, being wary of strangers pretending to know their parents, and the importance of having trustworthy adults that they could talk to about various situations.  Also present were Minister of National Security the Hon. Marvin Dames and other stakeholders who interacted with the children, during the hands-on and participatory exercise.  (BIS Photos / Eric Rose)
