Nassau, The Bahamas - The Ministry of Transport and Local Government held an International Ship and Port Facility Security Seminar. The opening for the two-day seminar was held on Wednesday, 19th February at the Paul Farquharson Center, Police Headquarters. Delivering remarks was Acting Port Controller, Lieutenant Commander Berne Wright. The seminar features several presentations by various stakeholders including the Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Bahamas Customs Department, Bahamas Maritime Authority, The International Ship and Port Facility Security Code (ISPS), and the Recognized Security Organization (RSO).
