Nassau, Bahamas - CULTURAL EXCHANGE: Students from the University of Maryland recently visited the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute’s demonstration farm in North Andros. While there, an early morning start got the students up close and personal with the goats and sheep, with the BAMSI students also spending the morning farm skills session with the sheep and viewing the new pineapple field.

The University of Maryland students also visited the livestock houses and hydroponics shed where BAMSI is growing lettuce and green herbs.
