Members of the Board of Directors and Executive/Management of the Water & Sewerage Corporation (WSC) made a courtesy call to The Bahamas High Commission (BHC) - ‘Bahamas House’.

WSC team members are in the UK to visit with various Water Utilities and Regulators, in an effort to improve the Corporation's efficiency of services!

WSC has been in existence since 1973 and is older than the independent Bahamas, as it evolved from the Ministry of Works as a Water Department.

As the primary provider of this most important consumable - “water”; naturally we must make changes and strive for continuous improvement to ensure the affordable and effective delivery of this product. This of course applies to the production, storage, delivery, and maintenance of all related systems of water as well as the treatment, disposal and reuse of wastewater.

As we are in the process of introducing best practices to WSC, we seek further knowledge and understanding of both the water & sanitation services. We hope to share some common practices, look forward to fruitful discussion, and long-term relations with the various firms.
