Nassau, The Bahamas - During her visit to the Kendal G. L. Isaacs National Gymnasium, on October 17, 2019, wife of the Prime Minister, Mrs. Patricia Minnis, joined Department of Social Services Social Worker Linda Polhemus, Gymnasium Manager Arthur Thompson, Jr., staff, volunteers and stakeholders, and posed with a volunteer team of members of the Chinese Community Association of The Bahamas.  The team had just completed feeding some 650 persons who are housed there, after being displaced by Hurricane Dorian.  The event that day was a part of the Association's Humanitarian Aid Programme and was the seventh food-based Hurricane Dorian initiative, inclusive of lunches at various shelters, and coupled with presenting NEMA with 20 pallets of grocery for the affected islands.  (BIS Photo / Eric Rose)
