Toronto, Ontario -  “The regulatory landscape has continued to evolve. Companies and management must be agile in order to preserve their existence and secure a successful future.” commented CRCA Conference Chair, Kyria Ali, NAGICO Insurances / BVI Association of Compliance Officers.

“Our goal with this year’s Caribbean Regional Compliance Association (CRCA) 2014 Conference is to provide a forum for governance, risk and compliance professionals across the region to gather, gain insight on trends, issues plaguing the industry and practical solutions and also to network with likeminded individuals with the added bonus of being set amidst the captivating beauty of the BVI.”

Set to run at Maria’s By The Sea, BVI, November 13 – 15, 2014, this years CRCA Conference promises to provide delegates with state of the art topics and speakers and a macro view of what is affecting business today.

Topics for this year’s conference include:

National Risk Assessment

· Every Caribbean jurisdiction faces a new CFATF evaluation of their AML regime in the next 1-7 years. Prior to this, each jurisdiction is expected to conduct a "national risk assessment" - a top to bottom, self health check that is set against strict criteria and methodologies.

· This self examination will be tougher and more telling than you'd expect. Come to hear from those with intimate knowledge of conducting the assessment about some of the common issues and the best ways to prepare.
