A new International convention has been announced today; International Business and Investment Convention (IBIC) 2015. The exhibition and conference will run for three days across 6, 7 and 8 October 2015, at The Lord Erskine Sandiford Centre, Barbados.

The IBIC convention is the first of its kind in Barbados, and will focus on encouraging international business relations and promoting investment into the Caribbean and Latin American countries. One of its key aims is to contribute towards making funding more accessible to the CARIFORUM countries, to assist with sustainable development.

IBIC 2015 will bring together industry leaders, government officials, sources of funding, buyers, manufacturers and suppliers, and will be held annually.

Dawn Barclay-Ross, Event Director says “ The Exhibition and varied conference programme will not only demonstrate the latest thoughts and ideas that will contribute to achieving sustainable development, but will also encourage interaction and collaborations on an international scale, highlighting new opportunities”.

The event, which is expected to attract over 2000 National and International Visitors, a minimum of 100 exhibitors and several hundred conference delegates in its inaugural year, offers a combination of exhibitor space, a world class international conference, and a unique LIVE Funding and Capital forum.

Conference delegates, including senior decision makers from government bodies, executives from leading organisations and members of various associations and institutes, will have the opportunity to participate in debates, keynote speeches, presentations and panel discussions on a range of business issues.
