Jamaica's NMIA aiport to reopen today at 12 noon

JAMAICA - This serves to advise that NMIA Airports Limited (NMIAL), operators of the Norman Manley International Airport, continues to monitor the movement of Hurricane Matthew. Based on the latest information available regarding the projected path of the hurricane, the decision has been made to reopen the airport for full operations at 12:00 noon today. Airlines are now making arrangements for the commencement of flight activity.

Passengers scheduled for flights today are being asked to make contact with their respective airlines to confirm their flights. Similarly, passengers booked on cancelled flights from previous days are advised to contact their travel agent or the airline’s customer care number for rebooking options.

NB. All passengers are well advised to make contact with the respective airlines before arriving at the airport today.
