CAYMAN ISLANDS, Caribbean -- Nexus Networks, co-founded by MTV TEMPO's Jeanille Bonterre and award-winning filmmaker Sean Michael Field, today announced the launch of its premier lifestyle channel, which will be dedicated to bringing island life to the forefront through original programming. Powered by LIME Cayman Islands, Nexus Networks presents the rhythm of the islands with universal appeal. Fusing the founders' extensive professional experience and passion for Caribbean lifestyle, Nexus Networks is positioned as the Caribbean connection to the world.

As Nexus Networks CEO and executive producer of the popular travel series "Island Xclusive," Bonterre is an innovator in the new era of the Caribbean media industry.

"Nexus means 'core,' and that is exactly what the Caribbean is to this authentic channel. Sean and I will show the world that the Caribbean is not just a destination, but a lifestyle to embrace," Bonterre said.

This new channel will feature films, documentaries and reality shows as well as cultural and educational programming that will excite and intrigue a broad spectrum of viewers.

As COO, Field brings his multifaceted expertise, innovative ideas and industry experience to Nexus Networks. Field starred in the film "Wedding Day" and wrote the screenplay "Egress," which recently won the Metropolitan College of New York Film Festival.

"In addition to building the Caribbean brand, we want to serve as a home for producers who seek to develop and deliver original multi-cultural programming," Field said. "All programming on Nexus Networks has a local component, which is what makes it groundbreaking and essential to our mission to stay Caribbean while providing mass appeal."
