The talented Marv Cunningham from Bahamas has won the Caribbean Regional leg of the Angostura® Global Cocktail Challenge 2019. Marv was up against 5 other top bartenders in an intense competition.

Marv made two cocktails in just seven minutes: His Amaro Cocktail using Amaro di ANGOSTURA® was called “Amaro Bank Burst” and his “Rum Cocktail” using Angostura’s® 7-year rum and ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters and ANGOSTURA® orange bitters was called “Mas Curried”.

Marv Cunningham has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and is currently the lead bartender at Aura Nightclub Atlantis, Paradise Island. A fan of Angostura’s® products, he says, “The Angostura rum range has given the bartending community not only rums of universal acclaim, recognized in contemporary bar structures across all niche markets, but has grown in all major cocktail markets given increased consumer knowledge and appreciation.”

Marv takes home US$2,500.00 and will move on to the Finals of the Angostura® Global Cocktail Challenge Champion Trinidad and Tobago in February 2020, where he could win the ultimate prize: the title of “Angostura® Global Cocktail Challenge Champion,” US$10,000 and a two-year contract as Angostura’s® Global Brand Ambassador, representing ANGOSTURA® aromatic bitters, ANGOSTURA® orange bitters, Angostura® Rums and Amaro di ANGOSTURA®.
