Providenciales, Turks & Caicos Islands:  LIME, the Turks & Caicos Islands’ full service telecommunications provider understands the “power of partnership.”

LIME and Grace Bay Club entered into a partnership for a community event in the islands of South Caicos and North Caicos. Employees from Team LIME, Team First Caribbean and Team Grace Bay Club were on hand to provide some excitement for the Primary School students in those islands.

Students and Teachers from the Iris Stubbs Primary School in South Caicos; the Hubert James Primary School, Adelaide Oemler Primary School and the school that is run by Ms. Gwendolyn Williams; they had a wonderful time with LIME and Grace Bay Club staff members who interacted with the children.

Dr. Carlton Mills of the Grace Bay Resorts Foundation stated, “This is partnership in action. The team members from LIME, First Caribbean and Grace Bay Club have come to South Caicos and North Caicos to share with them during the holiday season. This demonstrates what can be done when companies work together for the benefit of the community.”

The Principals of the schools were happy to have them there. Mrs. Darlene Lightbourne, Mrs. Linda Walkin and Ms. Earleen Elliott all echoed the sentiments, “We are happy that Grace Bay Club, First Caribbean and LIME took the time to come to our schools to visit us. This shows that being Corporate Citizens is not just something that is said but it is something that we have seen today.”

General Manager of LIME TCI, Mr. Drexwell Seymour noted, “The Power of Partnership is what these events were about. LIME Turks & Caicos is cognizant that we must make full use of the opportunities that exist to ensure that we reach out into the communities where we live and touch lives. That is what the season is all about.”

LIME understands the “Power of Partnership” and the three companies are also involved in maintaining the round-a-bout at the Market Place Junction in Providenciales.   The competition to guess “What’s in a box” is still on-going and persons can send the email to whatsinabox@gracebayresorts.com
