New York, NY  - Across the Caribbean, the need for substantial investment in infrastructure is increasingly urgent, particularly in the wake of the devastation of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Reflecting that need, and for a central forum to bring the market together, IJGlobal, the infrastructure division of the Euromoney Group, and New Energy Events will host the 2nd annual Caribbean Infrastructure Forum (CARIF) in Montego Bay, Jamaica, from December 11-12.

The Prime Minister of Jamaica, The Most Honourable Andrew Michael Holness, will
give welcome remarks at CARIF 2017. The Premier of Bermuda, the Hon. David Burt,
and Hon. Sharlene Cartwright-Robinson, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, have also confirmed their presence at the event.

In advance of CARIF 2017, New Energy Events and IJGlobal will also host a webinar "A New Era of Investment in Caribbean Infrastructure" on November 16.

Behind CARIF 2017 are Title Sponsors, CIBC FirstCaribbean and KPMG, both of whom
bring extensive experience of both the regional market – and the hosting of successful infrastructure stakeholder events – to the table. KPMG brings a highly experiencedpan-regional team and a long track-record of advisory to infrastructure clients and projects across the Caribbean. KPMG has also been the host of a highly successful biennial event for key Caribbean infrastructure stakeholders. CIBC FirstCaribbean, one of the leading commercial and investment banks in the Caribbean, has a track-record which spans many of the region’s landmark infrastructure projects. CIBC FirstCaribbean has also been in recent years the host of a highly successful regional stakeholder event focused on the financing of infrastructure across the Caribbean.
