CEO of Total Caribbean Network named Entrepreneur of the Year

New York, The Caribbean-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., (CACCI) has announced that its 28th Annual Entrepreneur of the Year Corporate and Partnership Recognition Awards Luncheon and Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, October 17th, 2013.

Junior George, Grenadian born President/CEO, Total Caribbean Network, (TCN) has been announced as an Entrepreneur of the Year award recipient.

Mr. George, through his years of experience working in various aspects of media had a vision of how to create a way to deliver news with relevant information and content to the Caribbean and Diaspora. TCN is non traditional, innovative, interactive, readily available and easily accessible. TCN has become widely popular and internationally recognized within 3 years.

TCN is a media platform network that brings live TV and live Radio via Hottcaribbean Radio. Realizing the growing trend in media on mobile devices, smart phones, iPods, iPads etc Mr. George decided to capitalize on their popularity by creating various apps for the mobile media platform. The latest new media platform to be added to the family is TCNplus IPTV network that allows for the seamless viewing of over 35 local and regional Caribbean channels from around the Caribbean in addition to numerous internationals channels that can be viewed on any television.

TCN has become the leader in content delivery in and out of the Caribbean and is revolutionizing the way how Caribbean content is delivered and viewed worldwide one household at a time.

TCN has accomplished many feats throughout the years, most recently the live broadcast of Spice Mas 2013, the Labor Day Parade with over 90,000 viewers noted, the Miss Grenada /USA Beauty Pageant 2013, and most recently the first Regional Reparations Conference LIVE from St. Vincent.

TCN works jointly with the Caribbean Tourism Organization, and other affiliates to promote the Caribbean Brand in North America and around the world, it is currently the network of choice for carnival and other major events out of the Caribbean.

An important part of TCN mandate is the ability to give back to the community through its various media resources. TCN actively participates in multiple charitable events.

Yet throughout it all Mr. Junior George remains humbled and thankful to The Caribbean-American Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc., (CACCI) and Dr Hastick for the recognition of his contribution to the Caribbean and Diaspora.
