Freeport, Bahamas -  The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the Finalists it has selected this year for their prestigious Business Excellence Awards set for November 12th, 2011. The Chamber’s annual event is now in its fourth year and has again been well supported with an outstanding selection of very worthy nominees.

The judging panel has had great difficulty in selecting the finalists and subsequent winners from the extensive number of nominations. This event has now become the premier event in the Grand Bahama Business Calendar and in these difficult times on our island there are those companies that have bucked the trend. They have not just survived but have managed to find new opportunities to grow, managing to find new ways to expand their businesses and  making the most of the opportunities that have presented themselves.

We are pleased to be able to recognize these exceptional business people who contribute so much to our community. We look forward to being able to reward these persons on November 12th at The Regency Theatre when we shall have a full programme to entertain and recognize all of our finalists. We hope that the business community will come out and support the Chamber. Full details of our programme will be released next week.

We are grateful to our independent and professional panel for their contribution.
