1,000 trees to be ordered and sent to BAMSI to solve the Apple price "crisis"
After a trip to the food store yesterday and found that apples were
priced at $1.99 each the government has now moved to avert this obvious
crisis.
The governments quick work to order 1,000 lime trees back
in April 2014 to send to BAMSI has obviously solved the lime crisis as
one can now buy 6 limes for $0.99.
Of course the apple crisis is even more severe when we consider that an apple a day keeps the doctor away as they say.
We can all rest better knowing that once the government orders 1,000
apple trees to send to BAMSI the apple crisis will come to an end.
Of course this is tongue in cheek, but we can now buy 6 limes for 99 cents and we don't even know if the 1,000 limes trees ordered in April, and said to cost $1 million, have been planted yet.
As H.L. Mencken said; “The intelligent man, when he pays taxes,
certainly does not believe that he is making a prudent and productive
investment of his money; on the contrary, he feels that he is being
mulcted in an excessive amount for services that, in the main, are
useless to him, and that, in substantial part, are downright inimical to
him.”
Mencken is correct as usual. I sure am feeling harmed by the government's taxing and spending. How about you?
