Nassau, Bahamas - Swiss bank Lombard Odier certainly showed that they are the "Swiss bank with a heart of gold". They paid the Bahamas Humane Society a very welcome visit when they brought a $15,000.00  cheque to sponsor the B-humane launch during the month of February.

The B-Humane launch will feature various events in particular a splendid evening at Fort Charlotte featuring many  Bahamian artists and restaurants for only $75.00 per person, on Friday February 5th.

"It was fun, all the Lombard Odier representatives put on the B-Humane t-shirts and got down to playing and loving the puppies in the shelter."

"Usually when we have a business bring us a donation they are in their jackets and ties, it was wonderful seeing the Lombard Odier team  with the pups in their arms, playing with them." President, Kim Aranha told the paper. Becky Armbrister, organizer of the B-humane launch told us that it is so exciting to have a big institution come and assist us to make an animal's life a little better, we are enormously grateful to the wonderful Swiss Bank with a "heart of Gold": Lombard Odier"

Becky went on to say that the BHS spends a lot of time and money trying to educated the general public on the importance of being kind to animals. If you can't be nice to a small puppy, how can you be  nice to a fellow human?".
