Nassau, New Providence - The Sandals Foundation, the non-profit arm of Sandals Resorts International hosted a sold out crowd of over 800 guests at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island for an exciting evening of gourmet food, premium brand spirits and great music all in support of a great cause.

This year’s “Vibes on the Island 2015”, featured live performances by famed Jamaican recording artists Tarrus Riley with special guests Dean Fraser and the Blak Soil Band, and Chronixx with ZincFence Redemption. Presented by The Coca-Cola Company and Caribbean Bottling Company Bahamas, the private charity concert was once again in support of Providing Access to Continued Education (P.A.C.E.).

Emceed by Bahamian radio personality Empress, the Luxury Included® festivities took place on the offshore Sandals Island and was also sponsored in part by: Sandals Resorts International, Flight Centre, Colombian Emeralds International, CIBC First Caribbean International Bank, Jet Blue Airways, Heineken, Majestic Tours and The Nassau Guardian Limited.

“This year’s turnout was even bigger and better than last year’s and we’re so pleased that the proceeds will go to assist P.A.C.E. with the critical completion of their multi-purpose facility for young girls who are pregnant and in need of a safe space to further their education and development,” said Adam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of Sandals Resorts International and President of the Sandals Foundation. It’s clear that this program is working and having a remarkable impact on so many young girls. “Together, we’re able to change the outcome for future generations and play a critical role in community development here within the Bahamas.” Stewart concluded.

All proceeds from “Vibes on the Island 2015” will go to support the P.A.C.E. Program and the refurbishment of a first-of-its-kind support center that will ensure young mothers are provided with a resource that accommodates administrative, health care, and academic services. The P.A.C.E. Program provides education and support to teenage mothers and promotes awareness to help reduce teen pregnancy among young adults in The Bahamas.
