PARADISE ISLAND, BAHAMAS – In keeping with a commitment to promote awareness and education on the importance of preserving all that is naturally beautiful about these islands, Atlantis, Paradise Island once again proudly answered the call to sponsor the High School Marine Display Competition showcased during the recent Agri-Business Expo.
Hosted by the Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture, Marine Resources & Local Government, the Expo gave students a fun and interactive forum to educate the wider public about marine conservation, sustainable fisheries and food security in The Bahamas. It also put focus on the viability of future careers within the agricultural and marine & fisheries industries.
Atlantis’ Water Features Department spearheaded the resort’s participation in the event and not only set up live exhibits for each of the participating high schools, the team also showed off its own display which featured the fan favourite juvenile green sea turtle.
