BTC Provides Scholarships for the Gentlemens Club

Nassau, The Bahamas - For more than four years, BTC has made donations to the Gentlemen’s Club to provide scholarships for students to pursue tertiary education.  The Gentlemen’s Club is a sixteen-week mentorship program, and this year, forty-seven young men participated in the program. Director of The Gentlemen’s Club, Lamont Stubbs thanked BTC saying, “The donations go towards the operations of the program and we appreciate BTC’s continued support.”

Michael Wallace, a twelfth grade student at from St. Anne’s High School was named as this year’s winner. Nathan Boyd, also from St. Anne’s was the first runner up.

Manager for Public Relations, Indira Collie said, “These young men are a truly a testament that hard work indeed pays off. BTC is proud to again partner with the community to make the dreams of our young people a reality. The Gentlemen’s Club has been in existence for years and has certainly had a positive impact among our young men.”

BTC continues to support a number of organizations which are devoted to the development of the nation’s future.
