Nassau, Bahamas - Shoe Rehab a locally owned shoe restoration and enhancement company, will be hosting its 2nd annual “Back to School Shoe Drive”.

The aim of the drive is to ensure that under privileged children will be provided with adequate footwear for the upcoming school term. The company will be working with various schools and foundations island wide to identify persons in need of the contributions.

Last year’s initiative was to all accounts a success as the business was able to donate almost 80 pairs of footwear. This year Shoe Rehab has teamed up with a few corporate supporters, ECFH, Digicel and the Sandals Foundation who have contributed various school supplies to be distributed with each pair of shoes donated.

The public is asked to partake in this shoe drive by donating clean, gently worn footwear, which once received will be refurbished and restored to a "Like New" condition.

Contributions of new shoes, backpacks and lunch bags will also be accepted.

Items can be dropped off at either of the two Shoe Rehab outlets at the JQ Rodney Bay Mall or the Gable Woods Shopping Mall.

Deadline for donations is August 13thin preparation for distribution in the last weeks of August.
