Nassau, Bahamas - The House of Rastafari is currently hosting the 3rd Annual Intermansion Conference at T.A. Thompson Junior High School on Gregory Street. The yearly 7 day conference is held from 7:30  to11:00pm. It began on Tuesday, October 14th and will continue until the 20th. The theme of the conference is Balafa Bagadama QuT'r, which is Amharic for "One the way”. Each night features specific topics namely: “Spirituality, Communication & Relationships, Economic Empowerment & Collective Security, Rites of Passage, Human Rights, Repatriation & Reparations, and the Selection of Officers.

The House of Rastafari, a budding organization, emerged in response to the need to coordinate the efforts of the national Rastafari family. It was born out of the need to have the Bahamian population at large have deeper understanding of who we are and what we represent. It is also felt that through this medium, the Rastafari community can better achieve its goals of the development, and advancement of its people; African (black) people specifically, and the world generally.

The House of Rastafari was formed following the 7 days reasoning Intermansion conference held in October of 2012. The Community Steering Committee Meetings are held at the Yellow Elder Park Park on Monday nights from 8:00 - 10:30pm.
