Jun 22 - Jul 17: Ms. D's Going Green Summer Fun Program, Lucaya International School. 4 week long (Monday to Friday) summer skills program for children ages 5-11. From 9am to 3pm. During your child’s time in the program, they will be involved in the following activities: Interactive learning : brainteasers/ brain busters, Swimming, Drama, Musical Activities – playing, singing, dancing and listening, Sports , Classroom Experiments, Baking and Craft Activities, Supervised games indoors and out, Field trips. Jul 20 - 24: Lucaya Youth Theatre Society Summer Drama Camp, Symonette Drive, Fortune Bay.  The LYTS Camp is a camp aimed at 5 to 9 year old children focusing on speech, drama, art, song and dance. It is strictly limited to 24 children. There will be a small presentation for parents on Friday 24th at 2:00pm. Jackie Dack is the director and Natalia Gonzalez is assistant director. Four other ‘Camp Champs’ will be leading various sessions and leading small group work. All those involved are volunteers.$125.00.  There is no day fee.  Children must attend for the full week.  Cheques made payable to "Lucaya Youth Theatre Society". To secure a place, complete the attached application form and hand in along with the fee to #1 Symonette Drive, Fortune Bay (call 374-2879 to check someone is in first). For the first-time swimmer, the focus of the camp is to teach the fundamentals of swimming.  These are: proper body position, breathing, increased comfort level with the water and water safety. Adventures Camp: Ages 6-9     July 14-19     Camp Symonette, James’ Cistern. Campers in this age category are out for fun and adventure - they are the adventurers. As an adventurer, the weeklong programme at Camp Symonette will provide opportunities for fun around the campsite, and on the island of Eleuthera. Scavenger hunts, kickball competitions and exciting workshops are all a part of the week’s activities. Adventurers will enjoy the beach, caves, nature walks and sporting activities including basketball, 4-square, dodgeball, and more. Adventurers will participate in exciting workshops including dance, music, and art and craft activities. Mornings and evenings will be filled with God’s word through songs and bible stories. Included is a t-shirt, name-tag, meals, transportation in Eleuthera and accommodations. Register now!
