Bahamas Trafficking in Persons Task Force meet with U.S. Embassy Officials

On 24th July, 2017, a breakfast meeting was held at the residence of the United States of America Ambassador to introduce the U.S. Embassy Trafficking In Persons Heads and discuss the progress and introduction of the Trafficking In Persons Bahamas Task Force.

U. S. Officials included Mr. Douglas Sun, Political/Economics Chief and Mr. John W. Bush, Political/Economics Officer.

Members from the Bahamas Task Force include representatives from The Ministry National Security, The Bahamas Department of Labour, Ministry of Health, Department of Social Services, Department of Immigration and The Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Task Force members were briefed on the importance of proper reporting and ensured their continued support to The Bahamas in the fight against Trafficking In Persons.
