Freeport, Grand Bahamas - Bring your animals, large or small, furred or feathered, to be blessed this Sunday October 4 in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love and compassion for all creatures. Come early and enjoy a lovely brunch in the tranquil setting of the Garden Cafe (animals welcome).

For everyone's safety, all animals must be under handler's control/restraint at all times. Dogs must be leashed, cats and other small animals crated, and un-clipped birds tethered or crated.

No admission fee.  Although donations for our shelter animals would be gratefully received as always, this is not a fundraiser. This event is for the entire community, to celebrate and recognize our animal friends.

If anyone would like to bring a shelter animal to be blessed, please visit or call the shelter to make arrangements in advance.

Call the Humane Society of Grand Bahama for more info at 352.2477 or email info@hs-gb.org

Please join us for this beautiful and inspiring ceremony.
