COB Welcomes New Students for Fall 2014 Semester

Nassau, Bahamas - Approximately 1,600 new students have been accepted for Fall 2014 entry into The College of The Bahamas. On Friday, August 15th, the students were welcomed into the College family during New Student Orientation 2014 activities, which also included orientation sessions for parents as well as Family Island and international student entrants.

Vice President, Student Affairs, Dr. Eslyn Jones welcomes the freshmen.


The students were also advised on academic expectations, policies, student services and registration. Upon successful completion of their various academic programmes, they will graduate from the University of The Bahamas which is anticipated to come into force by July 2015.
