Cape Eleuthera Island School connects youth and the environment

Bahamas Environmental Steward Scholar (BESS) Andrieka Burrows participated in a three-day kayak and eight day sailing trip around southern Eleuthera. These are just some of the exciting events students experience during their semester at the Cape Eleuthera Island School.

Bahamas Environmental Steward Scholar (BESS) Nina Sanchez maintains the coral nursery at the BREEF Sir Nicholas Nuttall Coral Reef Sculpture Garden. Nina completed her internship portion of the BESS programme at BREEF and is now headed to spend a semester at the Cape Eleuthera Island School.
