Nassau, Bahamas - Congratulations to Christina Davis of Graham Thompson following her win at the STEP Moot in collaboration with the Eugene Dupuch Law School. The event was held at the British Colonial Hilton in Nassau on April 8th.

Participating firms included Higgs & Johnson, Graham Thompson and McKinney, Bancroft & Hughes. Their representatives spoke on issues arising from a Moot Question prepared by SEAN McWeeney QC concerning competing claims to assets held on trust.

The Judges for the Moot were The Honourable Mr. Justice Lorris Ganpatsingh, (Ret.) Justice of the Court of Appeal of The Bahamas; Consultant, Lennox Paton. The Honourable Mr. Justice K. Neville Adderley, Justice of the Court of Appeal of the Turks and Caicos Islands; (Ret.) Justice of the Court of Appeal of The Bahamas, and Mr. Thomas A.E. Evans QC, Senior Partner, Evans & Co.

Christina, you would remember, won the Westminister debate and made history as the first Bahamian and first black woman to achieve that prestigious success.

Christina is an Associate at Graham Thompson and is the daughter of Deputy Prime Minister Philip and Ann Davis.
