Nassau, Bahamas - If real estate were an Olympics sport, Carlyle Campbell would be wearing triple gold. The hard-working broker just made a clean sweep, taking top honours in all three categories of awards at Bahamas Realty – top-selling agent, most improved agent and most exclusive listing agent.

It was the first time in 10 years since Bahamas Realty began honouring its own for outstanding performance that a single agent or broker captured first place in every category.

“When Carlyle came in as the agent who brought in the most exclusive listings, we were not surprised because everyone recognises how hard-working he is,” said Larry Roberts, Bahamas Realty CEO. “Even when he came in as most improved agent with an increase of 30% in sales despite the economic and housing market challenges of the past year we were hardly surprised given his work ethic, but when he also topped the chart as the highest-selling agent, the feeling was one of near jubilation. It was like rooting for the home team and watching it score the winning run with seconds to go. He’s not only serious about the profession, but he works so hard for his clients that they frequently write us and tell us how great he is, in one recent case, a client saying that thanks to Carlyle Campbell, buying a house in The Bahamas was smoother than any he had ever purchased in the U.S. where he is from.”

For Campbell, it’s all about loving the work.

“There are few professions that provide the kind of inner reward of knowing you have helped someone find the home or investment property that is exactly right for their needs,” says Campbell, who earned his CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) designation last year, becoming one of only 1600 of 1.2 million Realtors® to earn the title.

A graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a concentration in Finance, Campbell is also a certified appraiser whose work is accepted by every major bank and the Government.

“Carlyle’s record is so strong,” says Bahamas Realty President Robin Brownrigg, “that even without an $8 million sale that he made on Paradise Island, he would have been the top-selling agent for 2009. And at 29, he holds one of the highest recognised international designations, has three winning titles behind him and a great future ahead
of him. We’re just glad he’s part of the Bahamas Realty team.”

Founded in 1949, Bahamas Realty is one of the largest and most successful real estate firms in The Bahamas with agents throughout the country and a worldwide network linking its residential and commercial property divisions. It is headquartered on East Bay Street in Nassau.
