Colina is Gold Sponsor of 48th Annual Red Cross Ball

Nassau, The Bahamas - Colina Insurance Company Limited is proud to announce its gold sponsorship of the upcoming Red Cross Ball.

The black - tie gala is one of the Red Cross’ largest fundraisers. Proceeds are used to defray the organization’s annual expenses including disaster relief, Meals on Wheels and a number of other programs and services .

“The event promises to be one to remember as we celebrate the evening with comradery, fun and love , ” said incoming Red Cross Director General, Sean Beneby, who is excited about the upcoming ball.

“ Colina is always looking to make a positive impact on the community. Sponsoring the R ed C ross allows us to support an organization that not only helps The Bahamas in times of crisis but also directs daily initiatives that help make our country a better place , ” said Maxine Seymour, Director of Corporate Communications at Colina.

The them e of this year’s ball is , The Enchanted Forest . The night promises to be an entertaining one filled with great food, music and top - tier entertainment. It is scheduled for Saturday, January 25 at the Baha Mar Convention Center beginning with cocktails at 7 :00P.M .

About The Bahamas Red Cross Society The Bahamas branch of the Red Cross was formed in 1939 under the auspices of the British Red Cross to support the war effort during the second w orld war. The Red Cross is an international humanitarian movement with members worldwide.
