I am deeply saddened by the confirmed reports of a fatal plane crash traveling from Andros en route to New Providence that claimed the lives of a pilot and his five passengers – all Bahamian nationals. On behalf of the Democratic National Alliance, I express sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of each victim. We look forward to a swift and thorough investigation of the crash by the relevant authorities in the public interest.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with the victim’s families and the wider community in Andros.
May their souls rest in peace.
