Nassau, Bahamas - March for Equality led by Darold Miller took place in Nassau on May 1st, 2013.

Organizer of the march, Darold Miller told The Tribune that the group is not protesting "numbers" or "gambling" but rather standing up for the rights of Bahamians.

Mr Miller, who handed out Bahamian flags and T-shirts the day before at an organizing rally, encouraged all Bahamians who felt disfranchised for whatever reason, to join him in the march to Parliament.

The march ended in Rawson Square. The police were out in strong numbers, but the march was said to go off peacefully.
