Davette Strachan crowned Miss Bahamas Teenager

Miss Strachan's platform is "peer pressure"

Nassau,  Bahamas - After Months of intensive training and tough preliminaries 16 year old Davette Daniella Strachan, a student at Temple Christian High was crowned Miss Bahamas Teenager on Sunday June 14th at Superclub Breezes.

Davette walked way with many awards Best National Costume, Best Evening Gown Performance, and Best Evening Gown Design. She will receive a 2-year $10,000 scholarship at Success Career College and much more.  Miss Strachan will go on to compete in the Miss Teen Universe pageant in Costa Rica in February 2016.

The 1st runner is 15 year old Amberia Seymour, a student of Queens College and 2nd runner up is 18 year old Pedronique Saunders, a student at The College of the Bahamas.  The new teen queen is now a part of the Miss Bahamas Teenager Organization and Miss Bahamas Organization and Davette is eager to continue working on her platform "Peer Pressure." 

With the teen division is completed for the year, next up will be the Miss Bahamas World and Miss Universe Bahamas pageant season in July and August 2015.  Stay turned for the dates.
