Employees to Participate in Bank Sponsored Rotary/Scouts Tournament Nassau, The Bahamas – Scotiabank is partnering with the Rotary Club of East Nassau & Scout Association of The Bahamas on their 32nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament set for next month. The Bank is a gold sponsor of the annual event with 100% of the net proceeds raised donated to The Scout Association of The Bahamas and other Rotary sponsored community service organizations. "Scotiabank is proud of its legacy of supporting the Bahamian community," said Maxine Seymour, Manager, Public & Corporate Affairs, Sponsorships & Philanthropy at Scotiabank. "We are committed to helping young people reach their infinite potential and applaud the Scouts for leading the way in developing our leaders of the future.” Scotiabank representatives including veteran golfer and long serving employee, Leroy Dames, will participate in this noble tournament on Friday, May 11 at the Ocean Club Golf Course with a 12:30p.m. shotgun start. It is a two person scramble, net tournament, minimum of seven drives must be used per player; 35% of the handicaps will be used. There’s a maximum handicap of 24. The event has been one of the club’s primary fundraising activities for the past 30 plus years, collectively raising over $3 Million for numerous charities throughout The Bahamas!
