Nassau, Bahamas - On February 6th, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. FASHION FOR A CAUSE will launch the first “BIG EVENT” for The Bahamas AIDS Foundation while simultaneously kicking off an epic year of fashion for The Bahamas. The British Colonial Hilton Hotel Nassau will open its doors at 7:00 p.m. to the public to this “ONE BIG NIGHT”, of fashion for the second year under the 2011 theme - LIVE. LOVE. CARE.

‘Fashion Forward’ individuals know that the Spring/Summer collection has proven to be one of fashions most anticipated seasons yet, with designers racing to put thread in needle and to once again prove why they’re the masters of this grueling craft. FASHION FOR A CAUSE will gladly “follow the crowd” by featuring designs from some of The Bahamas most sought after designers and clothing lines such as: Brynda Knowles, Bonneville Bones, David Rolle, Harl Taylor BAGS, Jamie Taylor, Kevin Evans, Olivia Persaud, Paul & Shark and Theodore Sealy.   Our Guest designers however, will surprise the audience with special pieces sent in just for the FASHION FOR A CAUSE event.

When FASHION FOR A CAUSE learned that the Executive Director for the Bahamas AIDS Foundation, Ms. Juliette Barrett was hospitalize and now in a comatose state we decided to dedicate this year show to her. Ms. Barrett has been a full supporter not just for The Bahamas AIDS Foundation but for the FASHION FOR A CAUSE event from its inception.

Guests and attendees can expect to be entertained with a surprise guest HOST, goodie bags, give-a-ways and special guest performances. A night of fun and frolic is the aim of FASHION FOR A CAUSE while still aiming to educate and enlighten the public about the HIV/AIDS epidemic and to show how the lives of everyone living in The Bahamas is impacted or affected.

Join us on Febuary 6th, 2011 in the “BIG FIGHT” against HIV/AIDS at The British Colonial Hilton Hotel Nassau at 7:30pm sharp and please note that doors will be opened at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased from Bonneville Bones on Bay street and their Mall at Marathon location and while there you can also visit The Juke Box for tickets.

Remember alone F. F. C. is just a voice but together we’re a force. So let us LIVE. LOVE. CARE.
