NASSAU, The Bahamas - Join us for an upcoming fun, Informative Bahamas 4-H Health Rocks Community event on May 21st from noon until 5pm. The 25 youth from 'Dream Chaser's' Bain Grants Town and their dynamic volunteer leaders are excited to host and promote Healthier Lifestyles for Communities. The event is focused around three stations on Lewis and Hay Street between East and Market Streets: community gardens, Scrooge's Grill'n Chill, and Hay Street Basketball Court. HEALTH ROCKS is all about simple, healthy diets, growing food, preparing nutritious meals and having fun while doing it. Kids from the 4H Club will show what they learned and the community will prepare a big healthy cook out. Come out and meet the kids and people of Grants Town. You will discover the tru-tru Bahamas. Lignum Vitae 4-H operates a 4-H club, 'Dream Chasers', for 25 youth from Bain and Grants Town. Supporting this event will raise funds for the 'Dream Chasers' so they may continue their learning exercises and have funds for their own community projects. This event is initiated by the Bahamas 4H Club in collaboration with the Grants' Town community, Rotaract East Nassau, Rotary East Nassau, ASA Pritchard, Bahamas Wholesale Agencies, Bahamas Waste Management, Aquapure Water, Dreamchasers and Violets are Blue*.
