Nassau, Bahamas - Inspired by the community work and ongoing dedication over the years of the Sir Victor Sassoon (Bahamas) Heart Foundation and the Bahamas Heart Association, young new Bahamian fashion designer, Ms. Indira Lashan Moss created a replica of the Bahamas Health “Red Dress” pendant as an original fashion statement for woman of influence. She gifted the dress to the Bahamas Heart Association in the form of an historic art exhibit for the first time at the Sassoon Heart Ball on February 13, 2010.

“I admire what the [Heart] foundation does to help children in need but finding the right way to show my appreciation was difficult, until I saw their new pendant,” said Ms. Moss.

“At that moment, I could think of no better way to express my gratitude than through my God-given talent.”

Made with stretched taffeta and satin, this one-of-a-kind, handmade couture Red Dress is now the official property of the foundation as a national symbol of its commitment to bringing financial aid to young heart patients and awareness of heart disease and other heart related issues to The Bahamas and the world.
