Human Library Showcase coming to Queen's College

Have the opportunity to sit and have individual conversations with some of the most innovative minds in the Bahamas through the Human Library Showcase scheduled for Friday March 10, 2017, 6-9 pm at Queen’s College Auditorium.

Features (L-R) include: Janet Bostwick, Women & History; Jamaal Rolle, Fine Arts; Rev. Angela Palacious, Religion; Carlyle Bethel, Youth in Action; Freddie Munnings Jr., Entertainment; Dionisio D'Aguilar, Entrepreneurship; Dr. Darius Unwala, Health; Mavis Collie, Communications; David Beneby Jr., Chronic Disease; Gillian Curry-Williams, Fashion; Monty Knowles, Photography Art; Angelique McKay, Culture; Ranard Henfield, Activism and Keithra Morley, Personal Triumph.

The Human Library is inspired by an international movement that showcases people from different backgrounds and experiences to share life from their perspective. This space brings together real people who are on "loan to readers."

The format of this event is designed to foster intimate conversations. Therefore, participants will have the opportunity to sit and have individual conversations with features in groups of no more than 3 for up to 10 minutes. They will represent history, entertainment, culture, sports, art, religion, activism, fashion and more.

This event is hosted by Queen's College Centre for Further Education and KBII Communication.

Admission: $40 - adults / $20 students with ID
