In remembrance of lives lost to Hurricane Dorian

New Providence, BS. – Kairos announces that they have joined forces with Wendi, Dyson Knight, Chase Fernander, Sleepy Lexx & PDillon for the release of their debut track, entitled "This Is Love". They have also announced the official music video shoot, on the 14th of December 2019. The event is geared toward the remembrance of lives lost to Hurricane Dorian. It will be a candle light vigil & paper lantern release. It is their hope to bring a sense of closure to the family & friends left behind to mourn these tragic losses. They are calling for the public to show up, & be a part of the beginning of emotional healing for our country.

Kairos is The Bahamas’ newest female duo. The group consists of business partners, Angel Alei & Zaafira, They have been working behind the scenes on their music & gearing up for a few huge releases, but felt compelled to postpone those projects, to work on This Is Love.

This Is Love is a song that Kairos began writing in the wake of the devastating storm. They reached out to their friends in the music industry, each bringing their own feelings on what happened in our country. Effectively creating the emotionally provoking song, This Is Love. The song showcases a vast variety of emotions & perspectives, but none hits home more than that of PDillon, the rapper & Abaco native, who actually survived the storm! The track was created by local prodigies Yontell & Yonzell Clare. These brothers lend their talent to this song & create sounds that truly complements each artist’s style & vocals.

"I did this collaboration because I felt the need to have a voice in the task of maintaining some sensitivity & compassion for people that experience unexpected & unavoidable lost as did those that lost due to Hurricane Dorian. The direction of this song won my support because it spoke to the pain as well as the promise of a unified front to comfort & restore the strength of a people with out trivializing their plight."- Dyson Knight, BahaMan

“This Is Love is a beautiful lament song for the tragedy that was Hurricane Dorian. What drew me to wanting to do this song, is the fact that one of the artists survived the tragedy. So being a part of this project felt closer to home. I’m happy the song turned out so beautifully & I hope that we can all cry & grieve together, & push forward in love.” – Wendi, Award Winning Recording Artist

“Working on this song was the perfect way to vent all my feelings about the storm. As a survivor this song really resonated with me because it shows that we really need to come together & show love.”- PDillon, Recording Artist & Hurricane Survivor
