Local dance troupe seeking assistance to compete in World Hip Hop Championships

Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas - The XclusiV Kr3w of Eight Mile Rock have qualified to represent The Bahamas at the Hip Hop International competition this summer in America.

"We have been together for about 2 years now and reached goals we had never even imagined...dance changed a lot in our lives and if I think about it, I don't know what we would have done without it," said member of XclusiV Kr3 w, Luke Ignace. Other members of the group are Darion Vogt, Joe Dames, Keno Ignace, Cammeron Pennington and Roupne Gustave.


"Our group is heading to Las Vegas in July to participate in the Hip Hop International competition where we will be competing against the world, and we would really be happy if our homeland supported us."

"We will first have to purchase plane tickets and then raise money for living expenses as well, hotel will be covered by a supervisor in Nassau.," said Ignace

The group has been dancing at public events for free up until now to build their exposure. They are requesting assistance from the private and corporate sector.
