Miss World Bahamas is off to China

Nassau, Bahamas - Miss World Bahamas 2015 Chantel O'Brian has begun her journey to Sanya, China to take part in the Miss World 2015 contest.

"Extremely excited about this opportunity to represent the Bahamas in Sanya, China!" said O'Brian on her Twitter account. "Follow my official Miss World page (Miss World Bahamas) on Facebook and leave your support! My contestant introduction is also in my bio! Darlings, let the adventures begin!"

21 year old Chantel lives in Nassau, the capital city located on New Providence Island.  A Marketing student, she has ambitions of heading up her own marketing department in the future, if not her own company. Chantel is passionate about music and began singing as a young girl in her church choir and continues to this day, whilst also enjoying dancing to others music. She also enjoys listening to poetry and spoken word recitals. In her spare time Chantel likes to play basketball, her most read genre of books are mystery novels, and her favourite food dish is chicken fettuccine.
