The contestants all worked very hard for the past few weeks to prepare for the big day. Many of the young ladies said that the pageant helped them in many ways, allowing them to show their inner beauty a swell as their outer beauty. The pageant allowed them to interact each other on a personal level, which has now helped them build strong friendships that may go on for years to come.

The pageant was based on the girls' talents and intelligence, the basic fundamentals that match brains and beauty.  Each contestant's platform was unique, which showed the way young college teenage girls think and the way they can make a different in serving their community and school.  The young ladies also got the opportunity to show their high-fashion side in the runway fashion show held as part of the event. Miss Elnicka Gibson gave a dynamic speech and was 3rd Runner Up and winner of the Talent Presentation.
