Nassau, Bahamas - On Monday March 8th, 2010 the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation made a courtesy call to the Minister of Health, The Hon. Dr. Hubert A. Minnis, to highlight the success of the Foundation and its contribution to the Princess Margaret Hospital since its inception.

The PMH Foundation was officially launched in March 2003 and has since made tremendous contributions to the advancement of healthcare in the country through their generous contributions to the Princess Margaret Hospital.

The Foundation through its partnerships, has facilitated contributions of over one million dollars towards the purchased of medical equipment and training of staff at PMH. Some of the partnerships included, the Esso Standard Oil Ltd. “Help Us Help” campaign, the “Donate Dialysis” and “Breathe Easy” campaign, which were both successful partnerships with Tile King, The Tribune Media Group, Doctors Hospital Health System, The Kidney Foundation, and Rotary Club of Nassau.

In October 2010 the PMH Foundation will host its first “Miracle Ball” at the Atlantis, Paradise Island, and recognize its  “Miracle Partners”, “Miracle Donors” and “Miracle Workers”, to the Foundation.
