Shanice Toussaint named Miss Bahamas Teenager

18 year old Shanice Toussaint is the new Miss Bahamas Teenager

Nassau, New Providence - The Miss Bahamas Teenager Organization regrettably announces that Miss Rhodesia Johnson has relinquished her titled effectively November 14th2014. The organization wishes Miss Johnson all the best in her endeavors.

Following our pageant protocol and guidelines, Miss Shanice Toussaint, 1st runner up will now assume the title. Shanice is 18 years old and is currently a student enrolled at College of the Bahamas. Her endeavors in life are many. Firstly, Shanice wants to obtain my doctorate in Pediatrics and become one of the best specialized pediatricians The Bahamas has produced. Secondly, her platform centers around the caring, healthiness and wellness of children which is her ultimate passion, so in obtaining her degree she would also like to open up a charitable organization which caters to unfortunate kids who are in need of medical attention. Finally, Shanice wants to become a successful young woman in all areas of her life and continuing to be a young woman of God walking into her purpose. Ms. Toussaint has humbly accepted her new duties and promises to she will make the organization proud.

Since the 2014 competition, Shanice has competed at the Miss T.E.E.N. pageant in Huston Texas winning the title of Best International Teen Swimsuit Body. She recently ripped the runway at the Islands of the World Fashion week showcase, sharing the catwalk with former Miss World Bahamas D’Andra Bannister, local/international models Jessica Thompson, David Dion, Mister Bahamas 2014 Kenneth Kerr and other international models from around the Caribbean and the United States of America.

Shanice now has her eyes set on continuing to be a positive youth ambassador not only to her peers, but for all youths both locally and internationally. Ms. Toussaint would like the youth to know “growing up she was always taught that if you want something in life you must work for it, and when you get it, you must work to keep it. She feels if you follow this simply advice you can have anything you work hard for if you put your minds to.

Miss Shanice Toussaint is now preparing for the Miss Teen Universe pageant in Guatemala February 2015. Her first appearance as Miss Bahamas Teenager is at the Mall at Marathon at the Santa Parade this Saturday November 22nd 2014 at 11am.

On behalf of the Miss Bahamas Teenager Organization and the Miss Bahamas Organization we would like to wish Ms. Toussaint all the best at her international competition and as the new Miss Bahamas Teenager 2014-2015.
