Operation BIG BOOK BAG

Freeport, Grand Bahama - On Thursday, September 21, 2017 members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc., Zeta Rho Chapter, donated over 100 school book bags filled with notebooks, folders, pencil cases, crayons, pencils, pens, rulers, sharpeners, glue sticks, highlighters and erasers to students of Martin Town Primary and Hugh Campbell Primary. Basileus of the Chapter Ms. Philcher Grant said “Operation Big Book Bag is an International Project in which we focus on assisting with educational supplies and needs within the community. As a part of the project we donated school supplies to ease the burden on families and to ensure our students have the basic tools they need to succeed. This fits with in the aim and scope of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.”
