Sun Oil Limited Continues Investment in Nation’s Youth

For the third consecutive year, Sun Oil Limited has partnered with the Primary School Student of The Year Foundation to reward students who “go the extra mile”. For the third consecutive year, Sun Oil Limited has supported the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation by funding scholarships for students who “ go the extra mile ”.

Sun Oil Limited’s Deputy General Manager, Clinton Rolle said supporting Ba hamian youth falls in line with the company’s mandate to promote initiatives for positive community development in all areas .

“We take pride in our longstanding reputation as an exemplary corporate citizen,” he said. “Our commitment to Bahamian national development is demonstrated through our numerous investments in sporting, cultural and educational initiatives that help to create stronger families and communities.”

For 22 consecutive years, the Student of the Year Foundation has awarded students from around the country for outstanding achievements in academics and community outreach.

Today with over 1,400 Ba hamian shareholders, a professional and committed workforce of over 450 Bahamian employees , and consistent business performance that adds value for shareholders – Sun Oil, a subsidiary of FOCOL, remains true to its mission of “Fuelling Growth for People”.
