Now in our 9th year! The Bahamas Weekly is pleased to once again offer FREE summer camp listings for ANYONE / ANYWHERE in The Bahamas! Have Your camp included in our DIRECTORY at no cost!

Summer is a time for children, and we want to ensure your children have a great summer. As a community service, The Bahamas Weekly allows anyone running a Summer Camp in The Bahamas to list their information about their camp viewable to thousands  of our readers each month for FREE.

Jun 15 - 19: Grand Bahama Sailing Club (GBSC) FREE Junior Instructor Boot Camp (JIB) for teenagers. 9am to 3:30pm, and aimed at 13 to 17 year old boys and girls. JIB has a dual aim of giving children the opportunity to learn from Director, Toby Olssen, who has taught and inspired many of the older Senior Instructors and also for GBSC to recruit volunteers to help with preparations for the Summer Programme.

Jun 22 - Aug 14: Sunny Days Camp. 8am to 3pm at Bahamas Total Education Centre on the corner of East Beach Drive & Oleander Street. Registration fee (one time only) $20 weekdays between 8am and 5pm. Jun 22- Aug 14th: Grand Bahama Sailing Club Summer Camp. The camps allow children to be immersed in the Bahamas national sport of sailing, along with increasing the child’s knowledge and confidence in the waters we are surrounded by. This year an extra adventure component will involve additional exciting activities being offered depending on each child’s skill and maturity level. More information

Jul 6-17: Camp Centre Stage - Are you looking to give your child the best summer camp experience? The Freeport Players' Guild is now accepting registration for 'Camp Centre Stage' which will afford campers the opportunity to learn every aspect of theatre and drama. This 2 week program will offer your child better understanding of performance, knowledge in set design, directing, producing, costuming and make-up, culminating with a performance on July 18th. Jun 15 - 19: Ardastra Gardens Zoo Camp - Things That Make You Go Eww and Ahh. From 9am - 3pm for children between 6 and 12 years old. Campers will spend time exploring everything about and around the zero, from the creepy crawly to the cute and cuddly. Space is very limited. Jun 22 - Jul 24: Bahamas Humane Society Summer Camp.  The June 22nd week is already full but space is still available in the July 6 - 9 week and July 20 - 24 week.  Camp starts at 9 a.m., ends at noon.  Campers learn about animal care and have hands-on fun with the BHS adoption animals.  Ages 6 - 13, $125/week, payable in advance to reserve your spot. 9am to 12noon.

Jun 29 - Jul 17: Summit Academy
is now registering for its one-of-a-kind summer camp. More than 15 exciting themes ranging from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Fashion Diaries to Robotics to Tween Scene! Jun 29-Jul 17: Art Summer Camp for boys and girls ages 5-12 years. Eastern District. Allow kids to be creative with painting, drawing, indigenous crafts and much more! Jun 29 - Jul 17: Camp RBDF. Monday thru Friday, 9am to 3pm.  Ages 5 - 15 years. Learn self defence, arts & crafts, sewing, etiquette, seamanship, carpentry, and go on field trips.  The Camp will be held at Adelaide Primary. Registration fee is $20.00 inclusive of one (1) camp tee shirt and transportation. Light snacks may be provided.  Pick up and drop off will take place at The Golden Gates Shopping Center. This camp is a hands-on, interactive fun experience for students. The interactive nature of this camp provides a stimulating environment for students with a keen interest in science as well as those who may have an aversion to the subject. Campers will have an opportunity to experience the joy of scientific exploration through robotics, solar energy and the science of motion. The camp runs from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. daily at St. Thomas More Primary School, Palmdale.
