US Charge d'Affaires calls on Bahamas Minister of Youth, Sports & Culture

Nassau, Bahamas - The new Charge d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Nassau, Bahamas paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth, Sports & Culture Hon. Daniel Johnson on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the ministry's office on Thompson Blvd.

Senior officers attended the meeting, which covered areas of interest such as opportunities for young people, cultural exchanges between the two countries, and advancements in sports, noting that the U.S. Olympic soccer team is preparing to grace the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium.

Officials also had a chance to engage in discussions concerning the U.S. job corps programme and its relevance to Bahamian youth.
