“UB alumni are making outstanding contributions nationally and internationally and they are diverse, from CEOs and captains of industries to artists and entrepreneurs so it is only fitting that we celebrate and honour them,” said Director of Alumni Affairs Mr. Elvardo Thompson. “We are recognizing their leadership and service to the University, their significant accomplishments professionally and personally, and their distinguished volunteerism and philanthropy.”

The alumni gala is not only about formal recognitions. Scheduled to be held during the month which marks the third anniversary of UB’s charter, it has also become a critical means of nurturing connections with former students and meaningfully engaging them in the life of their alma mater.
