Vote to get Miss Grand Bahama to Number 1 at the Global Beauty Queen Pageant

Cast your vote and support Miss Grand Bahama 2008, Kerel Pinder, as she continues to represent The Bahamas in style.

Pinder, age 22,  is competing in the 2008 Miss Global Beauty Queen Pageant in NingBo, China. Bahamians please show your support and vote to get her to first place in the pageant's Miss Internet Popularity contest. The pageant, which runs from September 7 - 28 is one of the top pageants in the world, featuring over 50 international beauties.

Currently (at the time this article was emailed to you) Miss Singapore is in the lead with 17,950 votes. Greece is in second with 15030 votes, and Keryl is now in third place with 14,230 votes....

Pinder was sent to the pageant by the Miss Grand Bahama organization.

Currently Pinder, an employee of the Ministry of Education, currently works as a guidance counselor at Lewis Yard Primary and Beacon School.

A graduate of Grand Bahama Catholic High School, Pinder obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada.

She is currently an advisor for the Twenty Pearls program, an organization focused on grooming high school girls in grades 9-11 into future leaders; a coordinator of the R.I.S.E. organization, which is a parent support group for parents of special needs children; a member of the Rotaract Club of Freeport, the Toastmasters International Club and the Freeport Players Guild.

The Miss Grand Bahama Pageant took place Sunday, February 3rd, at a packed Hilton Outten Center. Seven beautiful and talented young ladies, along with their support teams of close friends and family attended the exciting evening. Anaya Watkins, Miss Bahamas World 2007, was also on hand for the event. Tinnyse Johnson, Miss Bahamas World 2008 placed first runner up, and Jillian Russell placed second runner up.
