Freeport, Bahamas -  Aryana Roberts has been busy since graduating from Full Sail University with a Bachelor's in Film in 2014. The Grand Bahamian has been freelancing in the film and television industry since 2008, and has worked on over 50 projects including, but not limited to WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment), ABC's "The Bachelorette", and on music videos with R & B stars B. Smyth and Mario, and Bahamian musicians such as Sammi Starr and Julien Believe.

Her company, Artistic Soul Productions was initiated in 2011, and officially registered with the Grand Bahama Port Authority in February 2016.  "We are set to launch officially later this year," said Roberts,  "but I welcome and continue to produce films, commercials and music videos until then."

"While Artistic Soul Productions has only produced and distributed over 25 projects since it's inception, I have plans for it's continued growth and longevity."

Last weekend the production company shot another music video, this time for Bahamian artist Donvarcia 'Varcy' Duncombe who describes herself as a Soca artist and recently debuted her first single, Soca Lover.  Scenes were shot in Port Lucaya, on Taino Beach, and at Pirate's Cove.

Duncombe is a twenty-year-old hairstylist and entertainer who has had the opportunity to perform internationally with the Grand Bahama Youth Choir, as well as at age 17 she was the first female Bahamian to travel for 6 months and perform with the international musical group, Up With People. While on the road she lived with host families, did community work and performed at massive events.

After returning home from that experience, she started the College of the Bahamas in 2012 to study business management, continued to braid hair and perform on the side with a couple Grand Bahama bands.

"Over the years my passion for songwriting grew and I decided to produce my first song. I chose soca because no matter what mood I find myself in, I always feel excited and happy to perform it," said Varcy. "This song was inspired by my love for music and dance."

"It was such a pleasure working with an up and coming Bahamian artist such as Varcy, and I hope that this is just the beginning," said Roberts.

"We are extremely grateful to Sands Beer, David Wallace and Raquel Smith of Pirates Cove; Sheena Miller and the Port Lucaya Marketplace staff; Noel Clarke and bartenders Tazma; and JR of Fish Tales (previously known as Sparkys); Mr and Mrs Cortez for the use of their yacht; and Sanique Culmer of the Ministry of Tourism for all of their assistance in making this video possible.

Varcy's "Soca Lover" music video is set to be released the second week of August.
